What did you do on your Mexico Vacation??

Well, we laid out on the beach...

drank margaritas... and swam in the hotel pool.

And THEN...

  • We took an ATV ride through the Jungle because we wanted to see monkeys and hopped a speedboat back…Indiana Jones style.
  • We Kayaked in the Caribbean Blue right outside our hotel.

  • We galloped horses on the beach and then Swam with them!
  • Swam with dolphins too at one of the world's largest Eco-Aquatic parks.
  • Explored the unbelievable Mayan ruins.
  • Rode bikes to a cenote…considered by the Mayans to be a passage to the underworld, and then swam in it. At the end of that day we flew (ok, ziplined) 160 meters above the rainforest.
  • And boy we laughed... a lot!

    For this WonderTrip Package:
We pick the Playa Del Carmen area because it's on the beautiful Caribbean and is only about 45 minutes from the Cancun airport. We like the early spring in the Caribbean (April/May), right after spring break and right before hurricane season. It's still incredibly beautiful and not quite so busy!
This hotel is the Grand Coco Bay All-Inclusive and is recommended for even young families. The price for a 7 night stay is actually only about $825 per person (that's based on a pkg for a family of 4). We added in some fantastic extras to our price, because if you're going to the Caribbean rainforest, you should do some things you couldn't do at home
